Bringing an all-new compact frame size into the legendary Tatula lineup, the Daiwa Tatula SV TW70 Baitcasting Reels offer a lightweight, highly palmable, and highly controlled baitcasting experience. The new 70 sizing for this iteration of Tatula SV makes it the smallest, lightest, and most compact Tatula ever produced. The compact aluminum frame and sideplate provide a rigid platform for housing familiar Tatula componentry such as the T-Wing System and SV Spool. The T-Wing level wind system opens up line feed, enhancing line management to ultimately achieve longer, more accurate casts, while the famed SV Spool minimize backlashes while allowing the reel to achieve extreme castability by using both magnetic braking and centrifugal braking technology. Brand new to the Tatula platform is Daiwa's Hyper Drive Design gearing system for the ultimate smooth cranking and fluid-like rotation. The Hyper Drive Design concept takes a four-pronged approach that includes redesigned gearing for a smoother and more efficient transfer of power, along with enhanced support features to resist torque and preserve internal alignment.
